free Web Design tutorials online?

“davex, I know that microsoft has some fre templates for web design. Also try just punching in free web templates on the search it should come up with some. I think you might have to have the software to deal with them. Also alot of ISP's offer free web service.”

All you need is notepad (the program) and a browser to build HTML pages. Both come free with windows.

webmonkey is a pretty decent developer resource but it's geared for those in the business.

Just search for learn HTML and you will find a bunch of sites that can help. Or just go buy a book on HTML. Don't worry about graphics or design just yet. Tackle that later once you know how to put info on a page.”

“Having just switched from Frontpage to Adobe GoLive, these training videos have made the transition somewhat smoother.

I learned HTML years back, but I'd prefer the point'n click drag and drop approach(aka object oriented programming). Knowing how to code HTML helps quite a bit, but it's hardly necessary anymore. About anyone can put up a web site these days.
