“Well, here's my synopsis

Nadia's song was a terrible choice. C'mon now... 1977-- There had to be at least a few songs that people have heard on the radio?!! She used to be my favorite, but unfortunately, when the JUDGES ask "what's that song?", you KNOW you bombed! My point is that if you aren't 100% familiar with that time period, then play the songs and see if you recognize them--i.e. are they STILL on the radio? have you heard them in ads? If they aren't and you didn't, then DON'T pick it! I think that despite her talent and cool outfits, she may be the one leaving this week. I mean, really, when was the last time you heard any Crystal Gayle on the radio?!

Bo's song was good, but as Thinkbubelz noted--the BAND can't give him the sound he needs to back up the style of the song... Therefore, he needs to change up his songs and pick something the band can keep up with... He was good, but sadly, I am wondering if he will be one of the bottom 3 tonight....

Anwar-- Nice song, good voice. He's just a little too "nice". Needs to bring back some more of his inventiveness. He did well, though. Might also be on the bottom 3.....

Anthony-- Sounded good. He's definitely trying to work the "pretty boy" thing-- I noticed that he got rid of the glasses the last few weeks. It helps, but sometimes, I wonder if he got contacts and aren't used to them yet? But he sounded good as usual.

Carrie-- She was pretty good, but I kind of agreed with Simon in a way-- She wasn't quite "edgy" enough for that song... I know she was trying, but the nice girl is still showing through. Thinkbubelz remarked that she should have dressed more "Pat Benetar"/80s rocker-- it would have helped with "the show". She is still a little on the "emotionless" side of things, although I saw her trying to screw up her face and do more than in the past.

Scott-- he did okay, but was having some trouble with the low end of the register during the verses. Although I'm glad he has started to smile more and to move more comfortably on stage. He did a little "attitude" towards Simon, though... that may not help him... I'm thinking he may also be towards the bottom tonight....

Vonzell-- She has REALLY figured out how to play the game and to gain the energy and exitement needed to get the audience and judges going! She's starting to pull ahead from Carrie in my book.

Constantine-- He did a good job with an extremely tough song--Like Vonzell, he is playing to win... He's really starting to give Bo a run for the money... It's too bad that they have to cut the songs down to 3 minutes... I would have loved to see how he would have pulled off the whole song!

I can hardly believe with Sex in the City that they just started it last fall and I think they've gone through all the seasons if they've already gotten to Barishnikov (sp?) Sheesh! I mean, I've been there for Big, Aidan, Burger, the ever-so-brief look at Duchovny and now the Russian. Just how many episodes did they have in a year? They're showing two a week... and has it even been six months? It sure seems like it's gone through smoothly in order.....

Back to Idol. HA! I never vote. Just like to watch, rate and discuss... and looooooong for non-moronic hosts. :-)
