“for me, there were two noticeable performances from this week- gina and jordin.

jordin brought the house down. she keeps it up and there will be a 3 way competition.

gina was horrible. she butchered the song, then nearly started balling. sorry honey, but if your niche is "the resident rocker chick" your screwed. rocker chicks don't cry!”

“Haley or Chris S. should be eliminated this week. Chris is so one-dimensional. Then again, Sanjaya with his ponytail mohawk appears to be trying to get eliminated.”

Melinda and Lakisha are still great vocally, but I think they are getting boring. I thought Gina, Blake and Jordan were the best performances tonight. Phil still bores me.”

Of course Melinda dn Lakisha were good. Phil was pretty good also. Chris sounded like he was Paula, his words in the beginning of the song were so slurred, I thought he was drunk.

I voted for Sanjaya, because without him pissing everyone off, it wouldn't be much of a show this year

“The show is rigged. Sanjaya's talent (or lack thereof) has nothing to do with his not getting voted off. I have seen a copy of a contract between an idol contestant and the show. The contracts states that producers can go against the public vote and keep or get rid of anyone they want to. My guess is that they are keeping Sanjaya around for now because he is good for the ratings.”

Jordin needs about another two years for her voice to mature. There just a few times, and not for long, in every tune that it almost gets a little "shrieky". If it were two years from now, it would be all her.

LaKisha got the big beautiful voice, but No-neck's the total package. She can switch it up to sing any type and genre of music.”

“Where are the Sanjaya bashers now? That dude was a smooth performer doing that latin stuff. I might have to move him up to the top 4 with Blake, Jordan, and Melinda if he can continue his trend.

Bottom 3: Chris, Haley, and Phil. I really don't get what the judges saw in Chris's performance... it sucked. Haley... I would like to keep her around a couple more weeks as long as she continues to show those legs.

“The Latin music in general sucked but as Simon said, Sanjaya is a smart competitor in picking Besame Mucho.

The Beatles did that song in their early days with McCartney singing lead.
It was a little more up-tempo and though kinda corny, its a nice song.
