I could see Melinda, Jordin and Blake in the final three. I like Lakesha, but I don't think she is progressing like the others.

I don't like Simon's deportment, but his advice is usually what the performers really need to here. It is time for them to start knocking our socks off.

I don't think Blake can win the final vote. If Lakesha, Jordin, or even Melinda gets voted off, the other girls will most likely get their votes, not Blake.

“Well Well Well Sanjaya is gone....and quite frankly i'm not sure what all the hubb bubb was all about. I've seen and heard alot of hate towards this kid and yes he's not a great singer but what he did do whether ya'll like it or not is instll positive vibes in our youth....what some might call teeny boppers....ya'll listening....that's right i'm using a word that's not used much nowadays....positive...yeah...the young kids loved this guy and it was all positive. You look back through the posts on here and you're looking at a bunch people who aren't in that demographic so the result is alot of backlashing negative gibber jabber. Personlly, I liked what the dude was about. Yeah i'm sure someone might quote me in my blogs elsewhere and here that i've said this or that...but that's what I do....that's my schtick....He was positive, he smiled alot and didn't lash out any hate. So, I hope he does well in whatever comes next for him. He's on the tour and i'm sure AI will make some dough becauce there's alot of teeny boppers out there that'll want to go see Sanjaya and Mommmy or Daddy will have to take'm to the show.

Anywho.....Jordin has really developed into a powerhouse and is gonna give Melinda a run for the title of AI but at this point it really doesn't matter because winning AI won't have any impact on record sales because most of the world already knows what they can and would buy a CD regardless of who wins. If its a matter of having a constructive conversation about who will win the competition....then the favourite right now is Jordin. Melinda seems to be taking some unwanted and quite frankly unwarranted downgrading because of some percieved "attitude" issues regarding being disingenuous. I don't see it and really, who are these people saying this.....who are they? Melinda.....you're alright in my book....I love you girl !!!

The rest of the pack....gee whiz....Blake should take the "Mens" title....not like there's any competition in that category. He's totally cool....loved when he did a Keane song a ways back....

Lakisha....she had a chance to position herself amongst the top 3....I really really loved the song choice this past week...one of my favourite tunes....Jesus Take the Wheel....but she botched it....

I think her performance was one of the best so far this season. I think it is going to be tight between Melinda and Jordin. Regardless of who wins American Idol, I think Melinda and Jordin are going to fill concert halls.”

Scorch - I think Melinda's humility will go away soon because she realizes it is irritating. Except for that aspect of her, I am very impressed.

“We are down to the four that many had predicted: Melinda, Lakisha, Blake and Jordin.

If Jordin can nail a performance next week, I think it will go down to the wire with her and Melinda.

My analysis (subject to change every week):
If Jordin has a good performance, she will weaken Lakisha's vote causing Lakisha to leave and Blake will hang on.

Then, the next week Lakisha's votes will probably mostly go to Melinda and Jordin, causing Blake to leave.

With only Jordin and Melinda left, where will Blake's votes go? Hmmm. Horserace for Melinda and Jordin.

Melinda is the better, more consistent singer, but Jordin is sexier.

Just my thoughts. I would pay for tickets to go to a concert for either one.”

I really liked Blake's performance last week. He hit a home run IMHO.

I think Melinda is the most talented. Her performances the last three weeks have been awesome. I think her biggest disadvantage is not looking as sexy as the others...which can be a factor in entertainment.

I think that if Lakisha or Jordin had gone before Phil & Chris, Blake would be in a better position for the end of the season.”
