I really think Scott always looks worried-- he has a very nice voice, he needs to be a little more relaxed and have more fun, rather than looking like he's going to get booted all of the time... someone on our local radio said that he mentioned that his dad didn't believe in him and his goals-- I think he has some self-confidence issues--he's also made mention that "as the big guy" he didn't think people would pick him... Poor guy! From what I've heard in previous weeks, he is rarely out of tune, unlike many of the others.... He just needs to add a little spark to his personality...

Everyone was kind of luke warm yesterday, although the judges must not be hearing what we are hearing out here in TV land-- I didn't think the group was half as bad as they kept commenting!

They really need to stay away from the slow and sappy songs, and even if they sing something slower in nature, they need to add more energy... :-)

Pinkbublez....just keep in mind....we the public (most of us anyway) are listening to their performances on low grade audio systems from our beloved TV's....so the sound isn't good to begin with and to make judgements on tune and pitch and whatnot by watching TV is really hard....

I say "LOOKED" because that's what the majority of the teeny-boppers who are calling and voting do... They vote for "who's the cutest" or "cool outfits", "nicest", etc. not necessarily "who's the most talented"...

This is, after all a TV show, not a radio show... If you had to judge the singers by their sound only and not their appearances, I'd make a bet that there would be no booting off of really good contestants due to bias about how they look or dress...

Part of the problem as well is that people only vote their top few choices. If it was a "call to vote them off" show, I'm sure the really good people wouldn't get voted off early.”

Bo Bice-- the guy is a natural, and has great stage presence. It was nice to see him smile a little more as well!

Nadia-- Whoa-- some hair do, but the song wasn't as great as I thought she would be-- seemed like an off-night for her last night!

Jessica--funny that she chose a song by Heart as well. I think she's trying to imitate Carrie, but she's just not as good IMHO... She was okay, but I ranked her as middle of the pack last night.

Nikko was okay. Personally not my favorite.

Vonzell was also okay, but I guess her performance was kind of lack-luster for me-- I almost forgot about her!

Anwar - He looks like such the "nice guy"... has a gentle face--I thought he was going to "step out of the box" a bit more with his song, so I was a little disappointed with him last night.

Constantine--I think it's extremely funny what Simon Said about him being like a poodle in leather... Seemed odd to me that he would chose a song that wasn't really a "rocker" song...(wonder what his band at home thinks of him now?!)


Mikalah-- ACK!!! Well, the one thing for sure...if Mikalah doesn't go, then there are a lot of tone deaf people out there.
She's being kind of obstinate and showing her lack of experience by not singing the "boppy" tunes.... I mean, really--the judges have told her repeatedly NOT to sing slow ballads (those songs tend to display her "pitchy-ness")... well, she'll be taking Simon to Prom I guess! LOL
