The best
What do you think the best granola is to take on hikes? For durability, taste, shelf life...

What have people found out there?

I may even accept power bars talk...

granola-head!

is there some huge difference between granolas that i'm unaware of?

i recently had a dream that i was backpacking, and needed some soy milk for my cereal. i instantly appeared in my kitchen, got the soy milk, and re-appeared at the campsite! i think i'll try that next time i do go backpacking, instead of carrying all that crap.

I dreamed the other night that I still owned every car I've ever had, and I had to move them across country. Fortunately, there've only been three...

LMAO lyra! That's totally the way to do it too, as far as I'm concerned. Think of all the amenities you could have on the trail!

I have my dream book on my desk here by chance....I'll look some of this stuff up....

I have a tendency to keep cars a long time. Of course, one must take care of them to have a chance of doing this. My first car was a Chevy Chevette, not exactly the best thing to come out of Detroit. I had it for 10 years and put 118,000 miles on it. Next car, a Ford Ranger, which I drove for ten years and put about 80,000 miles on. Actually, I still own that one, but it's on loan to a family member right now, who will probably purchase it from me in the near future. I'm driving a Dakota Quadcab pickup now. Great truck.

Ya know, I've seen the name GeneYuss a bunch of times today, and never realized....duh!

OK, for milk we've got:

To dream of drinking milk, denotes abundant harvest to the farmer and pleasure in the home; for a traveler, it fortells a fortunate voyage. This is a very propitious dream for women.
(It goes on from here....)

Automobile:
To dream that you ride in an automobile, denotes that you will be restless under pleasant conditions, and will make a change in your affairs. There is grave danger of impolitic conduct intimated through a dream of this nature.
If one breaks down with you, the enjoyment of a pleasure will not extend to the heights you contemplate.
(more stuff, too much to type).

From "10,000 Dreams Interpreted" by Gustavus Hindman Miller.

Week five: Lyra has successfully completed the maze to obtain the Blueberry Harvest bar, and can now navigate it in less than 15 seconds. Next week, I will add several interesting changes to the maze to test her lust for Blueberry Harvest bars. Among some of the hazards being considered are fiery pools of tar, broken glass embedded in the floor, and nude male supermodels lounging on beds. Her reaction will be interesting; I can hardly wait to obtain the results....

Personally I think there needs to be some sort of electric shock therapy to cure her addiction. Wiring the bar to to grid and seeing what sort of voltge she can take would seem to be the best experiment.

BTW... I thought all you furriners ate was Marmalade and Lemon Curd and stuff.
