“Since his multi tool couldn't cut through his skin, I'm guessing his 'hacking' at his arm was more like stabbing. He must have poked the sharp point of the blade through his arm, cutting about a half inch at a time.

I'm with Phil, some poor canyoneer would find my sun bleached skeleton hanging from an 800 pound boulder.”
