Trade a cup for a windscreen/potholder?

Some Wal-Mart's sell a light aluminum cup made by IMUSA for about $2. HogOnIce uses one of these cups as a cook pot.
Some pictures of this cup are about 2/3s down this page.

I want one or two of these cups for experimenting, but no Wal-Mart around me carries them.

Here's the deal, If someone will send me one of these cups,
I'll make and send you a custom 1 oz. windscreen/pot holder of my latest design.
If you send me two cups, I'll throw in a modified Sgt Rock ION alcohol stove.

For more details on the particular aluminum cup I'm looking for, look on this website.

IMUSA calls them Aluminum Jars.
I want either or both the 1 Qt (IMUSA part #00042) or .65 Qt (IMUSA part # 00041) size.

Email me at wksmith1000@yahoo.com .

I think Stove Stomper is about to be inundated with Wally World grease pots.

Wow, ain't TTers great!

Note: This is a limited time offer. I hope everyone except myself doesn't have access to these cups. I don't need 30 of them, or to have to make 30 windsceen/pot stands and stoves! ;)

No "grease" pots!
This is NOT the grease pot I'm looking for.
It is an aluminum CUP made by IMUSA.

StoveStomper - one idea that might work is to contact Dixicritter and see if the Walmart near her still has these cups. At least that way you know that at one time that Walmart did have them in stock.

I'd like to help you out SS, but I've sworn that I'll never step foot in our WalMart again.

They wouldn't have any anyways, they're always out of stock on everything. There wouldn't be anyone to help me find one either. Sam Walton is probably spinning in his grave because of our Walmart, poor soul.

I hope someone else can find one for you!

I did buy a grease pot for myself though. :)

Good luck stove, I am sure someone will be able to help you out!

(does this mean I get an updated new pot soon?)

I'll be over that way Thursday Stove... but I don't hold out much hope. I looked for the raingear Chili was talking about on another thread to no avail.

My favorite cup
My cup is actually a tall (tumbler)tupperware glass sold in shop-rite. Comes in pairs with a cover. No handle but I still drink very hot coffee out of it without burning my fingers. Everytime I put it down, I snap the cover back on & it keeps it hot AND stops it from spilling when I inevitably knock it over.

Pedxing came through with an IMUSA 1.25 Qt. and 0.6 Qt. aluminum cups for me. Weighs 3.4 & 2.4 oz.
Woo Hoo!
The small cup will be perfect for a new solo cook kit. It holds 2 & 3/4 cups of water and weighs 2.4 oz. I can use it as my cookpot AND drinking cup. I can leave the ol' drinking cup home and save another oz.
Got to get busy making some windscreen/potholders and alcohol burners!
I owe a few to some people and you know who you are.
I haven't forgoten people.
Just been busy backpacking (and being lazy). ;)

Glad you got it OK SS. I'd figured the large one was closer to 1 quart (almost exactly a liter) - but I was pretty inexact in checking 'em out.

Feel free to leave me at the bottom of your list. I got some pretty heavy time committments for June (my gf is moving in during the second half of the month - then I'll be living with not two, but four teenagers! - and may start getting out a lot more, LOL!.
