I'm putting together a publicity release in conjunction with Blue Ridge Mountain Sports, and supposed to meet with Bryan Dodge today at 1pm..

Would any of you care to post some reasons why you think Tc3 is an event that you definitely want to be there?

I'd like to put together a 'Dave Letterman' top five list if I get enough input.

Thanks in advance.

Number one reason to be there.

We will already have the permit in hand and you won't have to be interrogated by a 5 foot ranger.

BB is the current master.

The beer cart design competition.
Stalker won this hands down last year.

I wonder now.. as I look back on it.. if i really endangered my life all that much.. or it just looked like I did.. I do remember 'pushing the envelope' a bit.. trying to see how close I could get to setting my shoes on fire.. (which I /think/ were even standard issue tennis shoes!).. and I do remember purposely picking places and basically walking 'right through' the fire.. but would I have done it if I was sober?.. hMmm.. I don't really recall how much I pushed it.

As for that danged pic of me in a push-up bra -- I wish that thing would disappear worse than Miss Opie wished her pic of her from Sipsey Wilderness would disappear.

Hmmm. I know this isn't what you want on this thread TD, but I'm sooo confused I just can't think of a top ten list at the moment.

My calendar shows Columbus day as 10-6. You have TCIII planned for the weekend following and also the Monday after Columbus day. Maybe it's observed then? Or is there a mistake?

#3 The chance to sneak around gleaning ideas for fantastic trail food!
