The Tug
MapleLeaf,
Tug Hill is the plateau at the east end of Lake Ontario that leads to the Adirondack Mountains.
Tug Hill elevates approx 2200 feet right off the eastern shore of the lake. It is one of the Largest area's in NY with NO roads or towns. "Gods Country" is what they call it. Plus they average approximately 350 inches of Snow a year.

I have been XC skiing on Tug hill a number of years ago, bigtime lake effect snow made for great on and off-trail skiing. Appeared to be a great place to go hiking as well.
