Anybody fired one? Tarus Judge Fires 410 shotshells or 45 amno http://www.taurususa.com/whatsnew/revolvers.cfm last edited: 6/02/09 9:25:43 AM” Stovie 9:25:19 AM 6/02/09 Hey Stovie. Yeah it is pretty fun to shoot. I have the 2 and 1/2 inch version with the 3 inch barrel. Have had it since last October. Hard to find 000 buck in the 2 1/2 inch shells. Even hard to find #4 shot around here. Those would probably be the only viable shells for personal defense....(and 45LC of course) The # 6 shot spreads so quickly from the 3inch barrel that it is almost funny. All and all a fun and maybe useful weapon, but cool factors in at some level I think:)” 12:19:23 AM 6/04/09 Hi BBill “I like the looks of the new version that takes 3" rather than 2 and 1/2" shotshells. How's the recoil? I can not find one to look at in the local gunstores. They sell out as soon as they come in. last edited: 6/04/09 9:10:30 AM” 9:05:55 AM 6/04/09 “Recoil is not bad at all. It has a large grip with what Taurus calls Ribber. (Ribbed Rubber) easy to hang on to. Recoil with the .45 Long Colt is stronger than with the .410 shells. The 3" would definitely give you more options on ammo. I wanted one in stainless but happened across a good deal on mine in blue, so opted for that. I have a local gunshop here that usually has them from time to time. I think they ship to FFL dealers if you want me to give you their contact info.” 10:04:24 AM 6/04/09 “Thanks!...., but I try to buy local.” 10:11:24 AM 6/04/09 “I think I need something like this to go with my gun, when I get one. Whaddaya think? http://tacticalcorsets.com/” 6:14:48 AM 6/15/09 “YES! I...errr...you need one.” 7:06:17 AM 6/15/09 “ ![]() The real reason libbies want to take your guns” 7:21:30 AM 7/01/09 “It's why the liberal elite want to take your guns. Run-of-the-mill liberals have bought into their propaganda, which is of course an emotional plea for public safety, playing on numerous fears.” 7:29:17 AM 7/01/09 “So the first Amendment can be useless? However, I love the "fear factor" of the right. Is there a concerted effort to "take away guns" in this country? I must be missing it. It seems to me like the line of battle is about how much regulation should be used to regulate the ability to purchase and carry a firearm. Is there any group of people in this country who have been unfairly or wrongfully denied the ability to purchase a firearm? Where is the movement to take all firearms away? It seems to me the US Supreme Court answered the issues on this. Absent a change to the US Constitution, how will firearms be stripped from qualified owners? The problem with both the right and left wing extremists is that every issue is blown way out of proportion. However, right wing radio does a far better job of accomplishing this than does any other segment of the media.” 7:33:51 AM 7/01/09 “Chili you are missing it HR 45 is one of them..granted its still a shot in the dark. The problem is that we are seeing the Constitution being overridden everyday by PrezBO...(controlling private businesses, setting salaries...is there some little Constitutional issue HERE??) And for the most part most on the left just HO HUM the assaults. Since they are not involved they see no problem.” 7:47:30 AM 7/01/09 “Dunno if HPM mentioned it anywhere around here, but I inherited my grandpa's Colt 1903 hammerless .32 pocket pistol. A gorgeous little gun, still works, just about mint condition. We looked up the serial number on it and determined it was made in the first 2 weeks of May, 1909. Coolness. The metal treatment on it is black, with blue accents on the trigger and safety. I don't know where my grandpa got it, though.” 9:17:11 AM 7/14/09 “In Memphis, a growing number of bars have posted signs stating guns are not allowed on the premisis. The are "opting out" of the law. At least one municipality has opted out of the provision that allows guns in parks.” 9:27:00 AM 7/14/09 “It's amazing what our gunsmiths could do back in 1909. I wish you would post a picture.” 9:31:56 AM 7/14/09 “It's a sad commentary on "modern" American culture when bar operators actually have to tell people not to bring firearms into their place of business. So long, common sense.” 9:32:14 AM 7/14/09 “I,(Even as rabid a gun owner as I am), believe it's STOOPID to allow guns in bars....I do not carry if I even intend to have a simple glass of wine at dinner...it would make me wrong NO MATTER WHAT, if I used a weapon with ANY amount of alcohol in my system.....(Perception is reality...been drinking?...DRUNK).” 10:52:05 AM 7/14/09 “HPM, my brother has one just like that. Nice firearm.” 11:36:30 AM 7/14/09 “HPM..hows it shoot?” 11:53:19 AM 7/14/09 “First off, that belongs to Treebait not me. We haven't fired it yet. It seems perfect to my untrained eyes but we want an armorer to go through it first. After all, it's 100 years old.” 12:02:26 PM 7/14/09 “This one is just cool. Keep me honest here Treebait 5 shot .25 cal revolver. Can't find much info on the gun other than it's stamped "Nonpariel" with a patent mark of 1868 but we do know that this was owned by Treebait's G-G-Grandmother. Back in the day when Michigan was the wild west she and her two sisters were attacked by Indians. The sister were killed and scapled. G-G-Grandma survived by fighting off the raiding party with this pistol. This is a not a functioning pistol anymore. Too old and worn out for that. Now it's just a family heirloom. last edited: 7/14/09 12:00:47 PM” 12:06:52 PM 7/14/09 “ST, why do you hate the 2nd amendment. baby jesus loves guns. you should too” 12:07:44 PM 7/14/09 “Just talked to my dad. The Colt belonged to my dad's grandpa Lamiman. He bought it new in Chicago way back in 1909 or so.” 12:52:28 PM 7/14/09 “From Capone?” 1:13:29 PM 7/14/09 “Dunno. :) I'll have to ask when they left the Chicago area and ended up in eastern Michigan.” 2:46:46 PM 7/14/09 “I LOVE the 2nd ammendment.... ”1:35:39 PM 7/16/09 “Okay, so you wussies don't wanna kill anybody...how about we just make 'em WISH they were dead? ![]() 34 paintballs per SECOND..... last edited: 7/16/09 1:21:08 PM” 1:40:37 PM 7/16/09 “Hey ST, you can now get a cup holder for that sniper rifle! http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2009/07/gun-accessories/” 1:43:02 PM 7/16/09 “sip...kill...sip...kill ”1:46:30 PM 7/16/09 “You'd think the caffeine in that Mountain Dew would make the sniper jittery.” 1:50:32 PM 7/16/09 “Holy cow. 34 paint balls per second must look like the plasma gun in Ghostbusters. A solid stream of color.” 3:20:43 PM 7/16/09 “Made me start thinking about carrying a gun. roseymonster 2:49:30 PM 8/10/09” 3:18:12 PM 8/10/09 “You're like the third grader who gets an accidental boner for the first time. last edited: 8/10/09 3:10:52 PM” 3:19:45 PM 8/10/09 “LOL!” 3:21:09 PM 8/10/09 100!!! “All in my office right now. A friend of mine - and some of his militia buddies - have been buying up ammo for months, thinking Obama's gonna make it tougher for them down the road. So... there's apparently a shortage, and of course, that's driving up costs. So I gotta wonder, are those rounds money in the bank, or, like FD food, will it all eventually go bad?” 8:59:41 PM 10/09/09 “Jeeze, what is the lifespan of a shelved bullet. Inquiring minds want to know!” 9:08:40 PM 10/09/09 9:23:04 PM 10/09/09 “Wow, something practical on this thread.” 8:36:53 AM 10/10/09 “Great Gun Show this weekend....made a killing on a deal for a new .40 cal...was considering a .380 for a small back up....just don't know.” 1:51:22 PM 10/12/09 “A 2nd Amendment Celebration in Middle TN http://www.theoutpostarmory.com/event/8 Looks like lots of good food, some interesting speakers and a lot of activities for the little ones.” 12:04:00 AM 10/13/09 2:19:45 AM 10/13/09 “So what was the pistol, XL?” 5:03:58 AM 10/13/09 “LOL @ nigal It took me about half way thru that to see the point. ;-)” 6:58:53 AM 10/13/09 “Smith 4006 TSW.” 7:22:47 AM 10/13/09 “"“Was this guy there?” Nigal 2:19:45 AM 10/13/09" LOL.
