Tom, Republicans aren't racist. Quite the opposite!

It is clear why Tom T's thinking is not.

I never heard such a bone headed statement.

Richard Nixon lost the race to Kennedy by 300,000 votes. Votes delivered to him by Daley of Chicago and LbJ of Texas. There was plenty of evidence of election
fraud.Nixon declined to press charges. Allmost sound familiar.
Well,he did craft the word Affirmative Action, created a number of Agencies HUD etc. But
never got any credit for putting forth the most effort on behalf
equality.

you peolple are so unobjective it's pathetic....far beond laughable.

republicans turned down clintons appointees by a legitamate vote. dems change the rules, once again, in midstream.

Another fractured fact from stratworld.

Republicans never voted on 60 of Clinton's nominees. 50 were never even given a committee hearing.

The filibuster is a 200 year old procedure. It's the Republicans who are propsing changing the rules midstream. Frist has proposed changing the rules for ending a filbuster to require a simple majority.

I'm personally all for majority rule. If that were the law, President-elect Gore would be serving today.
VioLiN

... and I'd love to debate the info in the leak. All I've seen are parsed quotations. What did the full memo say? They haven't made it public because if the quotations were read in full, they would be exposed as hypocritical liars.

Telecasters, That Is
"....they are the liberals of the guitar world."
stratdewd

Hmmmmm, upon further thought I would say that the venerable Telecaster is more of a "conservative" in the guitar world.

Even though it was new and inovative when it was created in the late '40s, it was soon an old traditional(establishment/conservative) instrument in the early '50s.

The Stratocaster was developed in '53 as a bold change with new ideas and "radical" styling.
This change was not immediately embraced by traditional(conservative) musicians.

I would conclude that the Stratocaster is indeed the "liberal" of the guitar world.
That is as far as liberals being those who embrace change and invest in the future.

If the democrats want a democrat the White House, putting Hillary in the running for President would be a mistake. Unfortunately, she has a polarizing affect and the Republicans who may be considering voting Democrat(and my guess is there are plenty after this current administration) will rally against her and vote to put another Repulican in the White House if they are on the fence.

I am voting for Ron Paul because he is the only one that will bring about bipartisanship. Every other candidate running for president will polarize every issue. He is the only one that will make every congressman work together ..... against him.

snort...that is what I am saying, it was found out none of the restaurant's servers that waited on the entire entourage were tipped directly. She was not the only one that didn't get some of the cash that was left for everyone. Someone at the restaurant pocketed the cash.

They have presented expense records showing the money was left. Of course because it is a democrat function you will say that that is false too.

You neo-cons are such a hoot.

So on a real note, how many more have to die in Iran before you figure out we shouldn't have been there in the first place.
