American Cancer Society-Relay for Life

“I'm doing 3 relay's for the first time...I'm going to walk 1am to 7am, with my pack and trail runners...I'm wondering if anyone would like to sponsor me. I've never done this before, but I figure that I can survive a 6 mile canoe draggin, 48 mile Death Valley Hike, I can hike a track for 6 hours...

Last spring, Sass, SG and myself walked 60 miles in three days for the Avon Breast Cancer Foundation. TTers did a great job in helping us to raise lots of money. I just tried searching old threads for the totals...

“stickmon - send me your snail mail addy too. too much cancer in my family to be ignored. all of my grandparents and one uncle have died from cancer. and i can't even count the number of skin cancer cases in my family on two hands anymore.

plus, my mom is seeing a surgeon next week because she found a lump. she's had them before, and they've never been cancerous, but its always scary.
