We'll probably be there in RMNP July 28-31. We're staying in Boulder and then breaking away for a short trip in the mtns. What are your plans?”

There are some nice day-hiking trails all around boulder. I recommend hiking or biking up the canyon if you have time”

Im wanting to do at least a 3 day 2 night hike..maybe go back to Indian Peaks Wilderness..

Hate that Im going to be gone when you get there..Maybe our paths will cross another time..

“Jo, I would be eager to post my dates up there for you, but, I read what you said and my schedule does NOT match yours...But I wish you and your son to have a grad time. Are you looking to backpack or day hike. I could send you on a great hike to see some AMAZING sites. But it is a 10 mile hike to get to the really GOOD things...then you can walk wherever you want...

both of these hikes are totally doable in a 3 day period, although...4 is better.

“I know..its going to be so awesome..I cant wait to get back home..But getting my dad to let me hike by myself is going to be hard..guess Ill always be his little girl..Sad thing is Akeena has to stay here in NC with a babysitter..No dogs allowed at my dad's..I think Im adopted.”
