Anyone use Orbitz to buy airtickets?View MessagesViewing posts 1 to 12 of 12 messages posted.
“Anyone use Orbitz.com to buy an airline ticket? I'm setting up my Rockys trip for July 26-August 3 from GPT to DEN and return. So far, looks like $288 round trip. Any of you expert faresavers got any tips?” 1:31:35 PM 5/12/03 “I used them 4x's so far. My trip to visit my brother last year in Cananda and then treebeards trip back from his AZ. I have also used them for Hotel rooms. Not bad.” 1:34:53 PM 5/12/03 “Just used them for a return to Kansas City and back, they were pretty good and sent lots of e-mail updates about flight status. Of course now I get e-mails every day about promotions I'm not interested in.” 1:35:37 PM 5/12/03 “I have used cheaptickets.com and always got better pricing than I did with Orbitz. Service was prompt and efficient also.” 1:36:52 PM 5/12/03 “I've used cheaptickets too, they were fine.” 1:37:44 PM 5/12/03 “What chili and ynami-squared said.” 1:38:41 PM 5/12/03 “I've used orbitz a couple times for flights and once for a hotel. All three times, I checked travelocity and cheaptickets first. Orbitz won out. Things went smoothly w/ all three purchases.” 1:49:51 PM 5/12/03 “I use both Orbitz and sidestep. Orbitz usually wins but they don't list JetBlue like sidestep does.” 3:15:40 PM 5/12/03 “I've used orbitz once and it was fine. I usually try to go directly to the airlines. I usually find it cheaper stright from them.” 3:30:34 PM 5/12/03 “I'll never use Orbitz til they stop using pop-up ads. We have to take a stand, people!” 3:32:03 PM 5/12/03 “I took a stand... I downloaded a pop up stopper.” 5:24:33 PM 5/12/03 “I used cheaptickets.com Kind of roundabout, but very cheap rate.” 8:23:13 PM 5/12/03
