droopy breasts, squishy butt, gray, hot flashes, fatigue, roofers no longer'll give you a second look, wearing a pocketbook on the forearm... these are all things to look forward to.

Well, being 40, and speaking from a recollection of Tc2, I can definately say that you can still dance with the horns when you are 40, LOL.

40 is nothing....it's all a matter of your attitude toward life. I hope I feel the same way at 50, 60 and 70.

Happy Birthday! don't sweat the small stuff - age is just a number!

ditto what ski said.
Older is better, imo. I'm much happier in my 40's.

chili LMAO. I have not seen those pictures yet either. LOL

I guess i'll get over it sooner or later. Just feel a little depressed right now. Don't tell me none of you went through this when you turned 40.

As long as I dont' get a "over the hill" b-day surprise party from my hubby. Or should I say ex hubby??

I kill off extraneous braincells on a regular basis so I can maintain a mental age of 17.

Gemini, I have seen quite a few woman who are in their 40's to 50's who look 20 yrs younger than they actually are. Remember you're not getting older, you're getting better.

I also need to have my glasses checked since it has been a couple of yrs ;)

Having to pre-announce your own birthday. You must be absolutely starved for attention.
