Tonight/Tomorrow is the Full moon in Scorpio(sun) & Taurus(water)...
it is also the celebration of Wesak.
------------cut and paste-------

WESAK (named after the Wesak Valley in Tibet) is a yearly celebration of Enlightenment held on the Wesak Full Moon in May when, it's said, the earth receives the highest frequencies of light as heaven & earth connect.

Traditionally it is an honouring of Buddha’s birth & enlightenment with all spiritual paths honoured, laying the foundation for the unity of all humanity. It is a time of great spiritual renewal & celebration with influences on wisdom, education, self knowledge, writing, teaching & speech.

Today it encompasses both Eastern & Western traditions with both Christ & Buddha Consciousness the focus.

Each year on the exact full moon a huge gathering takes place in the Wesak Valley in the Himalayan-Tibet ranges where pilgrims, holy men & lamas await the full moon for an inner spiritual happening.

Amy, I was so looking forward to tonight's eclipse, as I want to take my new telescope up to the roof for viewing. Unfortunately, I understand that a noreaster is rolling into the greater NY area and visibility is supposed to be nil tonight :(

I am going to try anyway, but disappointed in the forecast...

i just got back from a week in yucatan, near the mayan ruins of tulum, coba, etc. it was cool to see their predictions of this event and then see it actually happen. it was absolutely stunning. the tequila might have helped make it stunning, but it was, nontheless.
