I love that stuf, comes in a .3oz packet, it says add to 4 to 6 oz of water, but I just dump one into my Nalgene, gives a little flavor but not overpowering. Each packet has "1,000 mg Vitamin C + 32 other Mineral Complexes and B Vitamins".

The Skippy tubes didn't last very long before Wal-Mart quit stocking them.
The same thing may happen to these.
I'm thinking of buying several packs now and just keeping them in my Fridge.

“If you freeze PB it tends to seperate when thawed--not a very tasty or appetizing treat, IMHO.”

Unopened and opened jars of peanut butter may be stored at room temperature. Keep the jar tightly closed and store in a cool place. Storage temperature affects product quality. Peanut butter may be refrigerated to retain the product's optimum flavor, but it will not be as easy to spread. Freezing is not recommended.”

“Stove, I bought 12 boxes of the skippy tubes when they went on clearance. They lasted two years. Worst case scenario the peanut butter seperates. I just squished the tube around prior to opening it. You could always stir the tubs up. The skippy ran out in May. =(”

So I put two drink mixes in it with a raspberry Emergen-C kicker and it made the best drink I’ve had on the trail.”

Got some stuff called FULFILL which is pretty nice. Definitely a good thing

“It (couscous)is finely chopped pasta. It comes with a flavor packet. It says to cook it for 3 minutes, but all you really have to do is pour boiling water over it and let it set until it cools enough to eat. I like to add some cheese or other dehydrated veggies or a can of chicken or tuna. Don't knock it until you try it. It definitely will be better and cheaper than MH.
Oh yea, and you don't have to add oil to it-it is better if you do though. You can cook all of those boxed pasta meals without adding the oil, butter or milk that the recipe on the box calls for.
