I am back and ready to backpack!!

“Hi all, my back surgery went well, now I need to find someone (or a group of someones) who don't mind a newbie coming along!!-lol. I have never backpacked in my life, and am kinda worried. I don't know anyone who backpacks, and I need to learn, so how does one learn to backpack safely and well? Any help is appreciated! Thanks all, Kirk.”
