Great Waterfall Weekend!

“This weekend. It was great fun. I want to thank walkindude, bbinkley, and all the others who provided such great advice regarding Centennial Wilderness and Virgin Falls Pocket Wilderness. The advice was right on and we had a blast!
A friend of ours came over and we started off Friday by heading to Tellico Plains. He'd never been to that area. Saw Bald River Falls and two other smaller descents near it. Visited Conasauga Canyon and Falls. On to Coker Creek where we saw several falls, a blue heron, and an owl! We went over to Virgin Falls PW the next day. It is now my alltime favorite waterfall. It was too beautiful for words. Surreal looking. Like something sent straight down from Heaven. Loved Big Laurel Falls, Sheep Falls and Cave.. the list goes on! We also saw and photographed Indian Pinks! Rather rare plant species. Toda we wrapped up the weekend by visiting Mingo Falls, Upper Mingo Falls, and a cluster of 3 falls in the Deep Creek basin. Took tons of pix and will post them this week. Hope everyone had a fun weekend. Mine was unbelievable!”
