Maple,
My mom always used to tell me I was slower than molasses in february, lol. Something along the same lines....

Dhutch, Birch and I all had our second kayaking lesson last Sunday. The instructor brought his six year old daughter and her little kayak. That little girl could paddle circles around me! It was very humbling.

I have thought on a name for my boat for a few months...not sure why, I won't put it on the boat, (well, maybe I will in small reflective lettering or something). I finally settled on Somekinda Wonderful. I love being out on the water, makes me feel so at peace, (as long as there aren't motor boats zipping around everywhere).

For a few seconds there I was sure you had named her "Mrs. Butterworth"
