“A friend of mine was looking for arrowheads in the winds, when a young lady was walking down the trail. She just stopped and dropped her shorts and took a piss right in the trail. No, she didn't see him, before, during, or after.”

“Not on the trail but fishing at a Sierra Lake one evening we had a lady come out of the woods (apparently she was camping back off the lake in the woods), take off all of her cloths, splash water on herself, go for a quick swim, and then lay out for about 5 minutes on the shore. Unfortunately my brother hooked into a nice Golden Trout and had to stop looking for a few minutes. I thought that we were in heaven. “That's nothing Chief, a woman did the same thing in Acadia and she knew others were around. Trail was right next to water as well.

In BSP there's a couple of trees that are intertwined and look like they're enjoying themselves. We'll pass it this weekend, I'll try to remember to get a pic for webshots.”

“1. We had bushwacked into the wilds in Humphries Basin in the Sierras and were probably a mile from the trail. A guy walks into camp looking for some medical assistance. He had a fly hook caught in the fleshy part of his chin. One of our group (Creekjumper) was a nurse and using someone's leatherman she removed the hook. He was totally lucky we were there.

2. A friend of mine was hiking on a trace trail in the San Gorgonio Wilderness (almost never used). He found a pocket knife on the ground that had a name engraved on the blade. BUT IT WAS HIS LAST NAME! (Roth). How bizarre!”

“Once when taking a dip in a lake to get cleaned up and drying in the sun, some dope almost lost the fish he just caught because he was so busy ogling at my naked bod.

Real why is nudity odd. There is only 2 basic types bodies and you see at least one of them naked all the time. I spend about 8 hours out of 24 naked with a naked man. So I don’t see the big deal about seeing either a man or woman naked. The idea of hiking ten miles or so up to a mountain lake and having to wear a swimsuit seem odd to me. Now don’t get me wrong, I try to be private. I did the miles to get away from people. If there are people around I either move on or wait until they do before bath time. But sometime you just get “caught”. It is no big deal. If it gives you some thrill then I have done my good deed for the day. Now if I had 4 boobs, that would be odd. The two little ones I have are pretty normal.”

“The way I understand the story, Leatherneck saw something pretty strange on the trail when he was hiking down near Huntsville.”

“My sister and I were circling Lake Superior in a Ford Festiva. We stopped at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park for a long dayhike. So, we took the Festiva onto a two-track which was really just arrows over a long, flat ledge. We got out, heard a wolf howl, saw a porcupine pass and walked up to the edge of a cliff. Beautiful view. This guy comes from out of nowhere and proceeds to tell us that a local teenager jumped from that very spot to his death a year earlier. This dude was spooky the way he said it. Then he went away.”

“i ran up on some young ladies that were singing in the buff on the side of a rock once outside of hot springs... on a trail that leads to the suddy hole... a popular swimming hole in that area. they must have been from norway or sweden becuase they were singing in a foreign language... it was a nice melody too... they didn't seem to mind that i stopped to "listen" either. my girlfriend at the time... (now my ex-wife... whoops) didn't think they were good singers.”
