The G00SE and Skullcap family will be hiking at the zoo. With a change of venue to a museum in the event of rain.

It's part of the deal. G00SE and I get to go away for the weekend, then we get to do whatever Sauron chooses. That's only fair ¦ ) .

OPIE and I had a trip planned to the Sipsey this weekend but unfortunally I have to have sinus surgery tomorrow. :( OPIE is so sweet though he is still coming up here to see me. I don't think I would be able to make it through the weekend without him. I heard this surgery is very painful.

Red River Gorge, along with about 1 MILLION other people, probably. This weekend is Memorial weekend, right?

The mind boggling part is that my wife actually suggested we go. I should play the lottery while miracles are happening.

Looks like Crescent Lake, Yosemite.

Maybe even the entire Chilnualna loop depending upon snow level / conditions. Or, maybe Buena Vista Peak.

None other than Hikin' Mike will be the guide on this one. 8)

Tough call, Since im off sun after too weds pm I have the time for a nice hunk of trail but no one to go with :{

this leaves me stuck with loops only - 40 maybe 50 miles. I could do an out and back on the midstate but I hate repeating myself.

just to make things interesting the waether is calling for rain I really am at a loss for what to do.

it bites not having a wife to tell me what to do :P

Don't forget to get IAT info pamphlets so you can read up on the glacial geology features of each area of the trail. That trail ain't there for just hiking!

I will be hiking under an umbrella. It is supposed to rain the whole rest of the week.

DOM, you need to post your trips with this site, there are hikers that can go during the week, if you give them some notice. And as far as not having a wife to tell you what to do, I can stand in and tell you to either backpack the whole time or just for an overnight, and then visit a museam another day. You need to get out and meet some new people.

Chili, you have a girlfriend with a daughter? Great, have a good weekend and I hope that everyone has a happy time.
