“Going down to Rocky Point Mexico. We are taking half a dozen grandchildren and a couple of our kids and spouses. Lots of fresh fish and shrimp,hecho en casa tamales and tortillas they bring to your door. Laziness and book reading--walking out when the tide is out to see whatever. Sand castles.....

“Hitting the swamps this weekend. This will be my daughters (8 year old) first hike. She cant wait!
Will be camping at the Collier State Park. NOT IN THE CAR.... told here that it has to be in a tent. Dont want her ending up like that Crazy Mike guy with all the car camping. Lots going on there this weekend. Florida trail southern chapters will have a booth to support the Florida Trail Ass. They will also hike out to the newly built bridge to dedicate it. They maintain this trail (Collier-Seminole Trail).
