Now we'll see if Lebron can play grown up basketball with grown ups instead of against pimply faced high schoolers. Just remember, there have been more washouts and disappointments in the first round than there have been successes.

I know that I should care, but I just can't. The NBA plays something that resembles basketball, but I'm not sure what to call it.
Give me the college game any day.

"Lebron, you get yourself over here! You know your Momma needs another Hummer to match her house. Now don't you sass me! I know Nike is paying you 65 million just because you can play a game. Now, send me my check!"

Straigh out of high school and he's getting $90 mill. It boggles the mind! Then again, you'd have to pay that kind of money to live Cleavland.

Did anyone listen to that NPR show, "What Do Ya Know" w/ Michael Feldman last Saturday? He was in Akron, OH, the home of LeBron.

Feldman repeatedly took jabs at the kid, all harmless stuff.

One multiple choice question for contestants was:

What does LeBron stand for?
a. the baron
b. the bruin
c. nothing, it'd a made up name

I'm waiting to see how this dude plays against grown men. The whole thing seems ridiculous at this time.

$90 million crap shoot!
$90 million and that's just his shoe contract! Nike obviously thinks he's the Chosen One.

I'd rather have Carmelo.

I remember Ralph Sampson. I used to watch Buck Williams eat his lunch at Cole Field House back in '78.

I heard about him Shep. The kid sounds like a keeper, but I have to tell ya, this LeBron kid has totally lived up to the hype, and then some. I'm kinda shocked by his performance and demeanor.

Hopefully this ATL kid has the same traits.
