Mason Andrew, My New Son

“....and I wouldn't change a thing. Mason Andrew was delivered by C-Section today at 11:47 am Eastern Time. Everything went pretty well, with some laughs along the way. He's 9 lbs, 1 oz and 20 inches long.

I had two C-sections and I did not have weeks and weeks of pain. Maybe two weeks of mild pain. The lack of sleep due to a new baby as well as a toddler was much harder, so yes, be helpful to the lady.”

“Hey, thanks a lot everyone! It means a lot to me. Ma and baby are doing great. I got some much needed rest last night. The last couple of days have been a little nuts. Looks like Mason might have Jungdus (sp?), but his bro had it too and everything worked out.

Story behind the BP: The pic was taken before we move Kerry up to her private room, that was all of my stuff for the weekend. I do have a gear winner for the weekend so far, tho. It's that REI Travel Sack, performed great while sleeping in the chair in the room. Kerry laughed her a s s off when I told her about what Snow Nymph said. Too fickin' funny!


Lucky (not my fellow co-workers), I saved up almost a month in sick days, so I'm pretty much done for the rest of the school year (YEA, BABY!!). Have no worries my fellow TTer's, my wife will be VERY well taken are of.

There was another baby at the hospital when I was there that had a bad case of it. I had to suppress the urge to call him daisy.

Tree, when my wife was born in 1976 she was so jaundiced that she got the nickname "Sunshine."”

And don't worry about a touch of jaundice - its incredibly common and almost never leads to anything (it just means that the baby has been through something really rough - like being born).”

“Glad to hear everything is going well! My niece was so jaundiced when she was born she had to be under some special lights with little goggles taped on her eyes for the first week! She turned out a-ok though. :)
