I also need to know the story behind the backpack in the delivery room? (see pic #13) did you wear a lightweight gown?” 7:25:20 AM 5/23/03 “Congratulations to you and your family, laqtis! I was wondering about the pack in the recovery room. Celebrating by going on a hike?” 7:34:47 AM 5/23/03 “Big congrats, laqtis, and yeah, we all want the full trip story of backpacking through the recovery room: What gear did you pack, what gear worked well, what gear will you leave behind the next time you hike a recovery room, what gear you wished you'd brought, do wearing those little paper booties over your trail shoes hinder footing on the slick hospital trails, etc., lol. You're definitely in the running as the most dedicated TTer now.” 7:49:03 AM 5/23/03 “Oh, Q, Congrats! I'm glad everything went well! My eyes were getting blurry looking at those beautiful pics! Awesome!” 7:52:16 AM 5/23/03 “Congratulations, Q! He looks like Momma! I hope he keeps all that hair!” 7:55:43 AM 5/23/03 Congratulations “Beautiful boy and great pics, Laq! Good luck and good health to everyone. It's been 11 years since Maple and I last experienced those moments. Brings me back some...” 7:55:46 AM 5/23/03 “No tree I am not having anymore babies! but we can adopt a Hedge Hog if you want to. they are just as cute!!” 7:57:16 AM 5/23/03 “Congratulations, Q!” 8:17:41 AM 5/23/03 “congrats” 9:13:44 AM 5/23/03 “A hedgehog? I had two C-sections and I did not have weeks and weeks of pain. Maybe two weeks of mild pain. The lack of sleep due to a new baby as well as a toddler was much harder, so yes, be helpful to the lady.” 9:18:27 AM 5/23/03 “He's precious! Congrats! Ditto to all the people who said be nice and take good care of your wife. But you know. You've been through it before. You're other boy is really cute too. Have fun!” 10:56:39 AM 5/23/03 “Felicitaciones, senior! Cute kid, Laqtis!” 11:00:09 AM 5/23/03 “WooHoo!!! I alreddy had a baybe (member Cry Baybe the baybe kittykitty?) and I DO NOT want no more baybes! Any ways I hope yall like yer baybe perty good tho.” 12:02:51 PM 5/23/03 “Cool! Been there, seen that with the C-Section, all four of my biological children were delivered that way. I even have videos! ;) Wishing you and your family the very best--speedy recovery, health and happiness for many year to come.” 12:57:25 PM 5/23/03 “Sorry Tarbubblebaby, I guess some C-sections cut different nerves. Maybe if you have another C, it won't hurt as bad.” 1:26:36 PM 5/23/03 “Congrats! - TT the Next Generation is growing.” 1:54:34 PM 5/23/03 “Whatever you do, DON'T let your wife watch Southpark a day after a c-section!” 4:30:43 PM 5/23/03 “CONGRATULATIONS LAQTIS!!!!!!!!” 4:37:25 PM 5/23/03 “I can hear it now --> “Well it looks like you’ve got everything pretty much under control here. I guess I’ll head on out to the trailhead.” Congratulations!” 5:03:24 PM 5/23/03 “Hey, thanks a lot everyone! It means a lot to me. Ma and baby are doing great. I got some much needed rest last night. The last couple of days have been a little nuts. Looks like Mason might have Jungdus (sp?), but his bro had it too and everything worked out. Story behind the BP: The pic was taken before we move Kerry up to her private room, that was all of my stuff for the weekend. I do have a gear winner for the weekend so far, tho. It's that REI Travel Sack, performed great while sleeping in the chair in the room. Kerry laughed her a s s off when I told her about what Snow Nymph said. Too fickin' funny! Lucky (not my fellow co-workers), I saved up almost a month in sick days, so I'm pretty much done for the rest of the school year (YEA, BABY!!). Have no worries my fellow TTer's, my wife will be VERY well taken are of. PS - Big thanks to birch and Sass for the dinner. That's going to work out great. THANK YOU!!!!! I'll catch up with y'all later” 9:51:28 AM 5/24/03 “Jaundice. There was another baby at the hospital when I was there that had a bad case of it. I had to suppress the urge to call him daisy. I know I know, that's not nice!” 10:16:50 AM 5/24/03 “Congrats laqtis. Beauiful baby. We can't wait to have ours in November. Tree, when my wife was born in 1976 she was so jaundiced that she got the nickname "Sunshine."” 10:47:45 AM 5/24/03 “LOL IJ!” 11:18:39 AM 5/24/03 “Congratulations!” 11:17:22 AM 5/25/03 “Congratulations!” 11:35:53 AM 5/25/03 “Congrats Laqtis! Have fun - sounds like you are wonderfully prepared. And don't worry about a touch of jaundice - its incredibly common and almost never leads to anything (it just means that the baby has been through something really rough - like being born).” 8:36:00 PM 5/26/03 “A belated congratulations! Good work!” 11:13:21 PM 5/26/03 “Glad to hear everything is going well! My niece was so jaundiced when she was born she had to be under some special lights with little goggles taped on her eyes for the first week! She turned out a-ok though. :) Be sure to share some more pics soon! How's Max doing with the new little guy?” 8:45:38 AM 5/27/03
