Piney River Trail Question??

“Morning All! I've got a question I'm hoping someone can answer for me. I was over to Spring City to visit Stinging Fork Pocket Wilderness this past Sat. with my children. We had a picnic at Piney River Picnic Area along Shut-In Gap Road. The Piney River Trailhead is right across from the picnic grounds. I know length of the trail from start to finish is 10.5 miles. It heads in the general direction of the next town over (Grandview) from what I'm able to tell. I know some of the features along the trail, but I am unsure where it emerges. I am betting it ends at Piney River State Natural Area. Can anyone share info on this? I know Upper And Lower Piney Falls are accessible from a trail in Grandview, but the book I'm using was published during the time the state of TN was purchasing the land.
