Percy Priest Lake
We decided to paddle from our house out to long hunter state park. It was about 12 miles out there and we had a great time.

We left sunday afternoon and it was sprinkling a little bit and we had about 12 miles to cover.

I have a 1 person kayak, so it was a little tricky but we did good and didn't flip over.

Got to the campsite right on the water and we just set up camp and had a nice fire and we had our enertia meals. Her fav. is the chili. Went to bed early and got up monday morning and headed back.

I think she's hooked on the whole kayaking thing. We had a great time.

Cool! How old is your daughter? My grandgirl is 4, was first in a kayak at 18mos, and she loves it! Tried to take her on a big sailboat once, she did NOT like that. :)

She's 7 fixin to turn 8. It was good. She got a little creeped out by all the grand-daddy long legs though. They were everywhere.

Awesome, Binks. Where did CB sit? In front of you? Is there enough room? Did you take any pics?

I only asked twignut last night, where she wanted to go on our yearly trip. last year we went backpacking to the Catskills. She did enjoy it but I think she may want to do something other this year. But I gave her the choice.
