it isn't urban legend. There are a few restaurants in Nashville where the inspector found skinned cats hanging in the cooler. I have eaten at 2 of those places before. One closed down permantely, the other was closed for 30 days and reopened under new management. I lasted about 2 months before it went out of business.”

I actually bought it at Circuit city first, but then decided to call Best Buy when I got home (glad I did)...

Benchwarmers, yawn. So much potential so little delivery

Syriana was amazing, superb multiple plot lines, interesting, believable and compelling characters (and dialogue) strong story, no needless special effects. Definitely will be renting this again after reading the book.”

“I must be the odd man out then because I hated Syriana. The writing was horrible and the storyline was so fragmented it was hard to follow. When you have this many characters you need to maintain some bit of order. Watching this movie was a lot like watching a guy juggle 25 balls and every few seconds one of the balls goes flying out into the crowd. The direction was good but the writing stunk. I read the book which is what prompted me to watch the movie. It�s been a while sense I�ve read the book but I saw very little similarity between the two. The book rawks though.”

neither am i, but i think the storytelling of the animatrix was much more american: no feeling like youre coming into the middle of something you have no idea what the fcks going on, no cute-bizarre magical creatures, no extended commercials for card-trading games. i really liked the asimov-esque (i believe they even mention the "three laws of robotics) origin sequences. i have some of the original matrix comic books, and i believe those were the first matrix stories published”

Regarding redbox, I saw one of those at a McDonald's. That's the very idea Jon had this past spring when he was flying. He was saying it would be great if there was a way to rent DVD's at airports to watch a movie while in flight since so many people these days have portable DVD players and laptops.”
