Noooobie here “Buenas Dias, I am trying to cover all the bases for the Pa-Paloosa coming up. I'm looking for the foot print for the The North Face "pebble" 2 man tent...... I looked at: rei,campmor,domsoutdoors... they have everyone, but the Pebble.. Maybe it's too new of a style? Are footprints absolutely necessary? Could I use something else temporarily? Like one of the 6X8 blue tarps? Sorry for all the Tech stuff mixed in with the INNUENDO's...haha” 10:18:39 AM 5/28/03 “You can easily make a footprint out of plastic painters drop cloth available at wal-mart or any hardware store.the blue tarp will work but it will be heavier. Just lay out the drop cloth on the ground and set the tent up on top of it,then trace the outline of the tent with a large marker pen.Take the tent off the drop cloth and cut it about 2 inches or so smaller than the outline that you traced. You want it to be a couple inches smaller so water wont collect on it and run up under the tent. And thats all there is to it.Cheap, light and easily replaced. Streamweaver” 11:39:33 AM 5/28/03 “Big Footprints? Bigfoot Prints?” 11:43:16 AM 5/28/03 “Stream, Thanks thats what I thought :-) I did not wanna drop $30 on something I knew I could make.
