YANKEES vrs BOSTON

Hideki on 3rd base, bottom of the 9th with 5-5. Alfonso Sorian up at bat. He gets walked, intentionally. Only to be followed by Jasson Giambi, who the allso walked, INTETIONALY. The boston redsocks intetionaly loaded bases. Jorge Pesada is up, ball, strike, ball, strike ball, BALL. BOSTON walked Hideki home to lose the game 6-5. What idiots. I have never seen a pro walk a guy home.

We just came from the game. Had good field level box seats in left field. Really enjoyable night at the House That Ruth Built!

You were even closer than I was then. I was in section 302, behind the aisle separating us from the front set of seats...

Turned out to be a nice night after all too. Glad the rain clouds didn't open up during the game...

Umm, Tea, was the guy in front of you disoriented and appear to be lost? Maybe like he thought he was in another section?

I was in the hotel bar with the red sox a few weeks ago. Of course I never relized it until after they'd gone. My knowledge of baseball players is a little limited.

Well, then tb must not be the "crazy guy", because according to this he would have been to Tea's right. Not in front of him.

Then again.....maybe Ice Tea was disoriented....

Lol @ Chili

That's being a good attorney. Caught me in an untruth on the stand! I gave the box # not the section. Maybe I was the loon in front of Tea...

so if we are telling truths here, lets get it all out there shall we.

so twignut and myself are sitting there waiting for tree to return from getting yummy food when we relize that he is taking forever. I looked in his coat pocket and found the ticket stub. so we guessed that he was lost and we went to go look for him. NO sooner do we get up out of our seats when BANG SLAM HIT
a foul ball hit the chair we were sitting in and the guy next to us CAUGHT the ball.

so tree anything to say for yourself???????????

You shouldn't have gotten up! I was waiting on line (a long one) for food for you guys. You should have bravely stood up and gotten your head in the way of the speeding ball and slowed it down so Twig could pick it up.

Hey Tea, how many outs? The only way I could see that strategy having any chance would be if there were NO outs, (setting up a force at home.) If there was one out, you walk one to set-up the double play.

Matsui doubled with one out. He advanced on a bad throw to Garciaparra. They did walk Soriano and Giambi intentionally, loading the bases.

Dead Sox fans are even worse than Yankees fans. The poor fools actually believe their team might win it all one day.

Hindsight dictates you pitch to Giambi, hoping for shallow flyball or grounder (with one out.)
