I'm sorry, but to think Gore would have just 'done nothing' is patently ridiculous. To this day, I'll bet he knows much more about the way the world actually works than Dubya. He was in Security Council meetings and CIA briefings for 8 years while Bush was running a baseball team and relaxing pollution laws in Texas. He was a member of the United States Senate while Bush played the bankrupt oilman.

And I well remember the 90s. Whenever Clinton made a move against Al Qaida, our staunch Republican friends screamed "Wag the Dog! Wag the Dog!" and made jokes about putting a cruise missile up a camel's butt.

I try to see what he has done that has benifitted this country and I can't find anything. I have looked at it open mindedly and I think he has done a poor job all around. Even before he was president he did a poor job at pretty much everything including parenting.”

No problem with that. My point in a nutshell is that someone should respect the office enough to not call the President scumbag or whatever. You have the right to disagree with him or think he's the worst president ever. A military man may hate his commanding officer personally, but he still respects his rank.”
