“When my nephew was a toddler, he broke his femur as well. No one saw it happen, but the family found him at the bottom of the stairs screaming. They think he crawled over the railing at the top of the stairs and did a free fall to the bottom. Luckily, he didn't break his neck in the process.

And it was so difficult for him to not be able to walk for so long because of the cast from toes to waist. And his cast was extra hard to keep clean since he was still in diapers.”
