they say brinkley turned more conservative-libertarian in his later years...i saw a guy interviewed wednesday(can't remember who it was but it was on mcnair-lerrah i think) and he was recalling a conversation with brinkley in the last year or two where brinkley was revealing his disgust with the overbearing tax system, poilitical correctness, and the failed wastefull wellfare system....”
