Backpack High Sierras and Colorado

“Hi, I have off three weeks this summer (July 24 - Aug 15) and am looking to connect up with some backpackers for 3 to 5 day long trips.

Am in good shape and have all my own gear. Am trying to get some friends to commit for short trips while I'm off, but it doesn't seem to be working out. I don't feel the need to backpack on my own all the time.

One spot I want to do is in the High Sierras of CA and another is on the Continental Trail in CO.

Also doing a 6-day loop in Northern Yosemite starting on August 10th - you could do the beginning part of it.”

“shoot - we start the Muir Trail August 15th, too late. but yeah, lots of folks headed for the Sierra, too. there are a couple of Sierra Nevada message boards, too - run a search here and you should get a couple hits.”
