Eric, it's open to anybody really. You've already posted more to the board than some of those going. Just understand that there will be varying hiking abilities going along. This is just a good way to meet others who fancy the sierras which you do. I'm not sure about permit space for the 5 day trip but SN can fill you in.

Hey, got an extra bear can?

I'm going to have to email her - or maybe she'll just see this post hopefully.
I'm hoping I can get away those days and join in on the fun. You guys sound like a fun crew. I'll know in a day or two if I can work it out or not.

Bear Can? Don't believe in 'em. :-) I do have access to one if need-be, but I'm pretty familiar with the bears and bear problems in that area so I'm not too concerned. I heard they were making Bear Cans manditory in 2002, did that go through?

What group size are you guys at right now and what's the space like? That's more of a concern to me right now...stupid group size limits... :-)

ya,they are mandatory.I kinda like em cuz the food doesnt get messy all over the place and u dont have to worry about the bears and not a pain like throwing a bear bag.

Good point...just not a fan of their bulkiness I guess. Oh well, I guess I'll probably survive if I have to use one...

The SnowNymph discount ran for 2 years, but is no longer offered.
