I'm surprised they can just release that stuff that way. Besides the chance of damaging something, there's the matter of pollution.

I did some stuff on this a few years back, a piece went through the roof of someone's house and landed on their bed. They don't release it it seeps out a valve. A horse was killed by a piece a few years ago.

If you think "valve seepage" is bad, you obviously don't want to walk down the tracks on an AmTrack route.

That reminds of that NPS study a few years ago where they took samples from backpackers water bottles and 48% contained fecal matter or fecal bacteria.

Anybody else remember that news release? It was publicized on several backpacking and outdoor web sites.

Why wouldn't American Airlines (or their insurer) just have settled this case?

Dangerous flight zone .

Violin, paying the guy off even if he did obtain judgment is probably cheaper than hiring lawyers to defend it.

I know, I know. And you wouldn't have the story posted all over the internet either.

I read a story like this years ago in National Lampoon. I think they referred to it as a 'pissberg' LOL
