“I watched one of the shows. It was on back to back for ten hours, five shows total I think. It was pretty interesting to watch for an hour and a half...but I couldn't stand to watch anymore than that in one sitting. Alec Baldwin was the host and did a great job.”

“Great show!!! But I didn't know there was more than what I watched the other night. I think the show I saw was about 2 hrs long. I did see one show awhile back that focused primarily on a Ice Age group. Might have been just about the Neanderthal come to think of it.

Fascinating stuff if you ask me. I spent a better part of my college digging in Kaibab/Coconino NF for artifacts. I really dig the Pleistocene Native Americans, there are lot of unfilled pages about them. I fear most of the artifacts we are looking for are underwater off the Canadian west coast or lost in the vast wilderness of Canadian Rockies and AK.”

Briar, I saw that one that focused just on the Neanderthals too. Interesting. Also, I used to read this series of books written about the really ancient Native American tribes. I can't remember the titles . . . they were fiction, but based on research and historical facts. I'll have to find the names of them. I think you'd dig them.”

“It was more like an introductory than in depth but I think there are a lot of people who don't know and don't care unless it is presented in an easy to understand and visually stimulating way. I was raised a nice little southern baptist girl and taught that evolution was part of the devil's scheme to deceive people. spooooooooky. I never knew much about evolution till I was in my mid twenties (and I'm only 26 now)”
