“rosey, you are so on the money with the old guys buying too big bikes. I just started riding in November, but I bought an 85 Honda Shadow 500 from mildbill. About a month ago I was on a sunday ride with a local riding club, maybe 20 of us, and we found ourselves on the 20' wide road that had been closed for bridge replacement. Only me and the ride leader were able to perform a U-turn without leaving the asphalt. The rest of them had their big bikes all in the grass. They were lucky that neither shoulder had ditches or half of them would have been pushing their bikes backwards to make the turn :). Little bikes payoff sometimes :)”

“Got it a year ago, Thrifty. I just found out I'm pregnant though. So I figure I have a full season, maybe two of non-riding ahead of me. Seems silly to keep a bike and just hold it in the garage. I love my bike, but it's just a piece of metal. I'll get another one when the time is right.”
