I made the admission in a moment of weakness....I knew it would catch up with me.

I think it is old age creeping up on me....now back in the days when we used to open up the supply train for "yellow jackets"......then the party would rage for days.

Of course, you went into a sort of "hibernation" after the binge.

I can only drink about 8 beers in the evening if I don't want to regret it the next day.

I dunno about all-day power drinking though. Been a while.

It's easy to do bit, if you have a fishing pole in one hand or you're sitting in an ice shanty.

I think the system sort of goes static around 14 or 15. After that I think a scientific pricipal of "Output is equal to Input" comes into effect. I tend to piss it out as fast as I take it in.

I cannot do it like I used to. I could polish off a 1/5 of tequilla and wake up the next day with out any problems.

I pee it out fast too.

I piss like a racehorse when I'm drinking beer. It's embarassing.

"Hey, are you going to pee AGAIN?"

"Yah, would you prefer I just piss in your beer cup next time?"

Ice shanty
I think I've only seen the lakes around here frozen over once in my life.

Funny story. We were driving on a bridge over the frozen lake, and there were tracks out to a dark spot in the ice. None returning. Hmmm.

You don't have to worry too much about falling through near me. Most of the winter the ice is anywhere between 12" & 24" thick.

We get a few of those every year as well, but snowmobile accidents eclipse everything else. Nothing like riding around going 100MPR on something that disintegrates as soon as it hits something.

I can remember ponds freezing over in West Tennessee to about a meter and a half in the late 70's/ early 80's.

After that, it seems like it was never more than a few inches.

Ewker, we had a pond the cattle would drink out of that froze solid in about '82. It was about 5 feet deep.

Chopping a hole in the ice for the cattle to drink wasn't an option.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here.
