Sadly, I think you are wrong, Crash.
Everyone is capable of being seen as a 'good guy' for short meetings, like a weekend hike.
Good Guys do not take pleasure in the personal tragedies of others.
Prime examples of this are Bubba Bear, MarkO, and violin. All who have expressed pleasure in my home being damaged by Katrina.
People that take pleasure in the tragedies of others aren't quite normal, and certainly are people I will not hike with.
