“well...it's raining. But, if I don't get out of this apartment - out of this city - I will go bonkers!

So, off I'm going to the festival!

I might even get to play on one of the boats!”

“Got back not too long ago. The rain was pretty light.

The highlight was getting to hear Alvin Youngblood Hart play - who I think is a terrific bluesman.

Other than that - it was too much like a hippie revival for my tastes - but I'd go back again for the great music.”

“I wonder if my hillbilly was uncle was there. He might have even played at it. He keeps pretty distant from our family, but always attends these sort of things, and only lives about two hours north of there.”

“Glad that you had fun at Clearwater, Twinkle Toes. We got home about 2 PM from Maryland. I'm sorry that you missed the trip, since I said that it would rain all Sat. and it didn't, at the campground at least. But there wasn't any kayaking, hiking was available but very muddy, and the Tree family gave up their campsite Friday night due to technical difficulties. They stayed at a local hotel just to sleep and hung out at the park the rest of the time. You might have needed to get a campsite of your own, because there was no room for another tent at the four sites that we had. My site was level only near the fire pit so we couldn't have a campfire that close to where we pitched the tent.”
