KOA Camping-Yeah!!!

Also they usually tend to prime real-estate in great locations. Its a great way to unwind at the end of a big trip before flying back home or whatever...”

“Pennsylvania has so many lovely state parks, there is no reason to even consider KOA. Maybe a private campground near Knoebbel's Grove, but the rest of the state is pretty well covered.

Don't knock the KOAs too much!!!

Thinkbubelz and I have camped at many a KOA when travelling by car-- In most places, they are a great alternative to a cheap hotel--especially when passing through a town on our way to our "final destinations" (usually one of the National Parks).

Plus, sometimes, they even cook up a great hot breakfast-- you can wash in clean facilities, yet still experience the outdoors (to a small degree), Their "Kamping Kabins" work well, too--especially if travelling with non-campers.... ;-)”
