I had a short leash last night, swung by but just could not force myself to pay $7 to park for a half hour. Every trip into town reminds me why I refused to live in Davidson Co, and why I no longer reside in a town. Yuck, I get claustrophobic in cities. Best regards, please take no offense. I was also driving my company truck so beer would have been a no-no.

“I've got to say I can't remember when I've met such a great group. We don't want to wait till we have someone travelling from across the country to have a get together. But I sure did enjoy meeting you Phil and I hope we can go hiking real soon. As for the local crowd, maybe we can get in a trip before the heat of summer really sets in. I'm off for the next 2 weeks for plant shutdown, so I'll be ready at the drop of a hat.......Now where did I put that hat......”

Miss Opie, I looked at the pics where we were sitting around the table and the group shot and I see Phils name on both of them. what are you looking at or I am just seeing things.”

Yes...lots of fun.

SuperTroll and I had talked to the lady on the right in the other group. She is a backpacker. She summitted Mt. Rainer and Mt. St. Helens over the last two summers.”

“Mt. St. Helens now that would be a nice Trailtalk adventure.”

My trip home was filled with mishaps just like the trip to Nashville. I missed my connection in Dallas because of the weather front's effect on the airport traffic. I took an American Airlines flight home, but one bag got lost...THE ONE WITH MY GEAR!! Anyway, got the missing luggage at 9:30 last night~ Horray~”

“Sorry to hear things didn't go so smoothly getting home. Glad ya finally got it though. Maybe your next trip will be smoother.”

“walkindude - I wasn't upset about the traveling mishaps, just scared I might have lost my hiking boots less than a week before Sierrapalooza. My rainsuit, platypus, and first aid kit were also in there.

The trip to TN was great...just a bad run of luck with the travel part.”
