Morning Buddur!
Was supposed to be 97° here today, with 90 some % humidity. I hope it's changed. The school I work at has no A/C. Talk about melting!!!

OMG Sas..that is aweful!! Are you in year around school? It kills me here they send the kids back to school the first part of Aug and is is always soooo hot. They have been known to let schools out early because a lot of schools don't have A/C.

I think the cooler temps are coming for the weekend...I think I saw 70's returning here!

Did it actually snow in Billings. or near there?

I know the Bighorns and Winds were supposed to get near a foot.

We got snow down to about 6500' around Cody.

Snow Mon.
Not actually in Billings, but it was only about 40 degrees. It did snow on the Beartooth hwy and it was closed for a couple days. Butte got snow in town. It doesn't look good for the one tomato they try to grow there every year.

New Yawkers have their four compass points: Uptown, Downtown, Brooklyn, and Jersey.

Well at least here in the west when you go backpacking, you'll know you have snow to put in your drinks to keep them cool.

Nothing better than some Crytal Light Lemonade mixed with some 100 proof vodka with some snow mixed in!!!!

You could eat it with a spoon.

I don't know Twinkle, we're north of the 45th parallel; that's pretty far north! And yes, we are weirdos.

See, that does not compute for a New Yawker. You have to say, "We're way on the other side of Jersey!" Of course, to make it perfectly clear, you should say, "Joisey!"

Some New Yawkers have a vague idea of a place called Buffalo, where they have these shaggy haired animals with little horns. There is also a place called Schenectady, located somewhere beyond Mars, but not as far away as Jupiter.

A New Yawker's version of a geography lesson:
Twinkle Toes
10:00:27 AM

the whole world consists of either Uptown, Downtown, Midtown or "Upstate"

"Upstate" is anyplace on the other side of the Hudson.
Twinkle Toes
10:01:41 AM
6/26/03

There's also a place called Boston, but you have to cross the Atlantic Ocean to get there, and when you get there, you turn around and go back home.
Geobeet
10:02:02 AM
6/26/03

Any other place names are where Hobbits live.
Geobeet
10:03:03 AM
6/26/03

and then...

You have the "Boondocks"

the "Boondocks" consists of Bronx, Staten Island, and ALL of Long Island (yes, Queens and Brooklyn are part of Long Island)
Twinkle Toes
10:03:34 AM

FYI geobeet. they are not called Buffalo
they are called Bison....

Staten Island is located somewhere offshore. You used to have to take a boat to get there, but they built this long bridge across the ocean to get to it.

But it's not as far on the other side of Joisey as Sheboygan, Saskatoon, or Billings, MT, where all the Hobbits live.

Is it just me or is Ice Tea getting a little weird? If he wants to become a conservative politician, perhaps he ought to avoit TT. On the other hand, we could keep his posts for pecuniary advantage some time in the future (sorry, Tea),
