DUHU say what? There are lots of woman out there. meangreen.... have you tried looking in those foreign buy ya one from russia, or southeast asia!

Actually on a serious note. Not many couples backpack and stay together. It seems most men who backpack and are married say there wives will not backpack, and those woman who backpack say ther man doesn't backpack.
I have herd that opposites attract.

Although we both backpacked when younger, my wife lost interest after a few years. She still loves to hike though.

I still backpack, but considerably less than a couple years ago. I look forward to meeting CalmSpirit and can't wait for you to meet my husband. When he gets home we should plan a trip for all of us.

Ruby. I have trips posted for every month on the trips page with the exception of May due to Trail days. Getting ready for Alaska in July. When does Hubby get home?

Not sure. Sometime next summer. We plan to do some traveling whenever he gets back. Maybe we can join one of your trips.

you have to look deeper at a person than the circumstances surrounding their hobbies. finding someone that shares a set of common interests is a good thing, but this is not a foundation for a lasting relationship. people change and if the circumstance around the periphery of a relationship blow away and the core is hollow you'll be in a bad way.

Well maybe if I could find a backpasker woman I could tell you however, as we found out previously that is probably gonna take a while. :(

What Jimmy san said.

My wife and I have been married over 38 years. She married a backpacker, climber and motorcycle racer....she does none of those things. I was looking through an old climbing guide she gave me 35 years ago. On the inside she wrote..

"You'll always climb and I'll always love you".

Thats why we are still married, not because we do the same things together, but because we accept each other and encourage each other.
