Jones Gap Trail Dayhike

“On July 5th my kids and I will be dayhiking the Jones Gap Trail in the Mountain Bridge Area in SC. Hopefully we will do more swimming and playing than hiking since this is supposed to be a great swimming hole trail. The trail is 5.3 miles long and follows the Middle Saluda River just about all the way. Plenty of nice cascades, waterfalls, and swimming holes along the way. The trail is a nice gradual up hill all the way.

My kids are 7 and 9 years old. Anyone interested in bringing their kids out for a few hours of fun and sun on the trail and in the river?”
