I'm looking for information to begin planning a spring trip starting at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

What are some good "links" or general sources of information to get me started.

MaryPhil where are you?

Spring Trip
Just be aware that the North Rim closes for the winter, so a spring trip may not be possible until May or so.

We are thinking May, 2004.

Would like to spend a couple night in the Canyon.

It's only the biggest friggen hole in the country, I'm sure it won't be hard to find info.

www.kaibab.org is an excellent resource for trails and hikes in the Grand Canyon.

If you are going to the North Rim, I've found a map by the BLM for the Arizona Strip is a good one for getting to the trailheads. It has all the old forest roads on it.

mapleleaf,
I believe there is car camping somewhere at the South Rim.

Look, but don't leap!
