the places you met people

“we did the tourest things in Ny this past weeknd because we had friends staying with us from Fla.
but one of the things we did was went to the top of the Empire State Building. ok that was preety cool.
But I think the highlite for me was seeing 3 backpackers in all there gear standing at the top. that was cool. so being who i am i went right up and asked where they were heading and were they were from.
they said they were from Ga and they came north via the AT. I think they said something about taking the bus home to Ga. They said they post on Trail Jouranls.com
The only name I could remeber was Diesel's. he had another man and a woman with him.
but it was just so cool to see them up there. so i introdused myself and we said our brief goodbyes.
i did find a name on TJ.com but im waiting to see when he updates his journal.
I just think it was cool.
if you see backpackers off the trail, do you stop and talk to them>?”
