Walkin(beachbum)dude

“Well, the car camping thing didn't pan out. Susan spotted a motel with a vacancy sign and so that was that.
We hung out on the beach and I got a wickid sunburn. It was cool watching all the chicks walk by strutting their stuff. sorry, no pictures. I got a body board and played in the water while Susan layed on the beach. Jason slept. Normally I'm scared to get in the BIG water but there was no small fish in the water so I figured that sharks wouldn't be a concern. Plus there was plenty of other tourist for them to eat first.
We set our happy asses on the beach and watched the 4th of July firworks show that was out on a barge in the gulf. Other tourist shot them from the beach. We didn't spend a dime on fireworks so it was free to us. HAHAHA!

We took a ferry boat from Fort Morgan to Dolfin Island then drove into Mobile, Alabama.
In Mobile we checked out a small fort and then drove the wrong way down a one-way street. This pissed off some black dudes.
Next we took went and saw the Battleship Alabama and a submarine.

From there we drove about 8 hours back home. I'm not sure how long the trip lasted since we drove at night and slept at wierd times. I think we got home on Monday.

The water was actually pretty calm. we wanted to take it across on a different trip but the wind and waves were too rough and it couldn't even dock.”
